Alarm Clock

Ever get tired of hearing the same old stereotypical alarm clock sounds? I sure did and wished I could pick and choose what sounds I wanted to wake me up in the morning. To solve my problem I created my own alarm clock which listed all of the music MP3 files on my computer. I programmed it to allow me to set an alarm time and what music file or files to play when it's time. When the "play random songs" option is selected, it will stop, pick, and play a new random song every 25 seconds.

The alarm will not sound on this demonstration because the music files are not on your computer, but you will get the idea on how it works. The introduction scene of the movie reminds me to make sure my computer's volume is set to a comfortable level. This is written in an external Actionscript 3.0 package.
